9/11: 23 Years On

I was quite stunned this morning when realising it's the twenty-third anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

As everything was unfolding on the news, my nephew was with us in the living room. He was only a few months old at the time.

He is now older than I was back then. 

It's scary to consider that because those attacks seem quite recent in my mind despite all the footage of that day looking dated when contrasted with today's TV pictures.
