Ready For The G1

This year's NJPW G1 Climax begins tomorrow morning. I think I have correctly added the UK times to the schedule below.

This will be the thirty-fourth edition of New Japan's annual tournament. Its winner will main event the Tokyo Dome show on January 4th 2025.

Looks like I am in for some early weekend starts. I don't know how I am going to manage the 7:00AM BST start on August 3rd with WWE SummerSlam later that day.

On top of that, I don't know how I'm going to get the 8:00AM start the following day with SummerSlam potentially ending somewhere around four hours before then!

Thank God for on demand viewing (even though I will try to catch everything live).

I don't mind having the closing event start at 7AM. By then, I should be excited to see who will be crowned the tournament winner.

My pick would be Shingo Takagi to set up a match against his Los Ingobernables de Japon leader - Tetsuya Naito. 

21/7/24 Update
The time for night 2 was incorrect. It started at 6:00AM, so I mussed the live airing. I should have known better than to believe it would start at 10:30AM because - in all the years I've watched the G1 live - the first Sunday of the tournament tends to be an early one.
