I cannot recall which specific word was trending on TWITTER (Not X) yesterday. Whatever it was led me to find a handful of tweets about Home Bargains having Christmas items on its shelves.
It's August.
I haven't even seen Halloween items.
Yet.
The madness continued this morning. This time, I didn't even need to look up what's trending. Something came directly to me,
The Works sent one of its marketing emails to me. Its title read 'It's beginning to look a lot like Craftmas!' and continued pictures of items currently in stock.
Yes, it is still the summer, but The Works is targeting customers that may like to craft their own Christmas displays or Christmas cards.
It's good to be one step ahead.
With all that said, I am the person who looks around for National Lottery Advent Calendar scratchcards as soon as September is upon us.
I'm in no position to critique businesses for their Christmas promotions.
