102/1 Part II

In September, I published a post about some American football seasons bets I came across that were being offered at 102/1 because it was going to be the 102nd season of the NFL.

There were thirty-two of them. One for each team in the league. I decided I would put £1 on each bet with the idea of having a look back to see whether any came in once the season had concluded.

Well, now that the Super Bowl is in the rear-view, I think it's safe to confirm that the season has indeed finished.

As for the bets? Thirty-one lost. 

I received a £103 return for the special which focused on the Cincinnati Bengals' season. To win, I needed Joe Burrow to be crowned the Comeback Player of the Year and for his wide receiver - Ja'Marr Chase - to win the award for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The awards ceremony was held last Thursday. The winnings were delivered to my account a couple of days later. 

Not bad, eh? 

That was the only win I had last week. All of my Super Bowl gambles went up in smoke.

If I come across 103/1 specials for the 2022 season, I think I'll have another go...
