I am reading a really intriguing book at the moment.
It's a dystopian novel set in 2030 (and likely beyond, I am only a quarter of the way through) in which the world is dealing with a deadly virus.
Yes, it does sound familiar doesn't it?
I've been so immersed in it that I woke up from a nightmare in the middle of last night. For some reason, I had been SCUBA diving as research into the virus within the book.
What is weird about my dream is that there has been no diving involved in the novel. Yet, I was certainly involved in an experiment to battle the futuristic plague.
As I stated above, I haven't finished reading it. I'm sure I am going to give it at least four stars when I finish reading it. I might even go all-in and hand it five stars. That's how well I am finding it.
I've written all that without even sharing the title and author - it's 'How High We Go in the Dark' by Sequoia Nagamatsu
