The crisp company has teamed up with some of the country's popular restaurant brands to produce crisps that taste like certain items on the restaurants' menu.
Last Tuesday's post saw me try the Pizza Express American Hot Pizza flavour. I was not keen on it. However, I circled a flavour I thought I would like.
The Gourmet Burger Kitchen's 'Classic Cheeseburger' has been given the Walkers treatment. I'm going to open up my packet and write my thoughts below the picture.
....as I predicted in last week's post, I did indeed like this flavour.
I've eaten burger flavoured crisps in the past and this one tasted similar to those. They always taste more like what is inserted on top of the burger rather than the meat itself.
After looking at the GBK menu, it looks as though the 'Classic Cheese' is made up of 'beef, mature cheddar, house mayo, relish and salad'. Therefore, the flavour that struck me the most - from this taste test - is, I would surmise, the relish.
This one gets a thumbs up.
