I've just seen a trailer for a television series (or Christmas special) that's coming to Sky One.
It reminded me of a novel I read many years ago. Twenty-five years in fact. It's about Elizabeth II having to move herself and the other members of the Royal Family to council property.
While watching the commercial, I was thinking to myself 'this seems similar to (the late) Sue Townsend's Queen and I'.
And then the title of the programme came upon the screen.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. It'll obviously be a retelling of Townsend's original work as the Royal Family has changed considerably since the original book was published.
