When I read that Tony Sparano passed away yesterday, the first thing I thought about the NFL coach was one of my favourite NFL games.
It was the Miami Dolphins' 38-13 win over the New England Patriots in week 3 of the 2008 season.
I know it so well because I took the points and backed the 0-2 Dolphins to cover the spread.
Sparano was the head coach of the Dolphins that day.
He was backed into a corner and unleashed the Wild Cat Offence on his opponents.
The game was aired live on Sky Sports that weekend. Yes, I am a biased 'Anyone But New England' fan, but that was embarrassing for the Pats.
I was happy to see the game mentioned in most of the obituaries I read this morning.
