A Great Decision

I tried to stay awake in order to watch the Bellator show last night. And failed.

Well, not from my own doing. I was able to get a stream. However, there was a huge banner advert that was in the way of viewing.

I figured sleep was the better option at 1am my time.

There's no doubt after watching the two main matches on YouTube as soon as I woke this morning that I made the right decision.

Nay - it was a GREAT DECISION.

Ken Shamrock versus Royce Gracie went the way I predicted - a round one win for the latter.

And then there was Kimbo Slice versus Dada 5000.

What can I write about that?

The positive: it lasted longer than I thought. Slice won via TKO in the third round. I had it going less than a minute!

There are too many negatives.

The best way I can describe it is like this: Have you ever been plastered and then happen to see a fight going on in the nightclub? The drunks are throwing punches and missing, you're too wasted to figure out if everything is going in slow motion.

That is how I thought the fight looked. All this without a touch of alcohol.

I haven't read any reports about the fight. My first instinct is to predict that it will be a hot topic for all the wrong reasons over the next day and beyond.
