I am glad Cardiff City lost in the fifth round of the FA Cup yesterday.
Seriously.
The Bluebirds lost 2-1 to last year's FA Cup winners, Wigan Athletic, yesterday afternoon.
The reason why I am happy they were defeated is because I think the team - and its manager - should concentrate solely on Premier League survival.
If they had continued further into the tournament, the team could have ended up in a similar situation Wigan faced last season. The team won the cup but failed to avoid relegation.
That's the positive spin on yesterday's loss.
I'm overlooking the fact that the team have lost yet another game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
