I was watching the Survivor Series on Sunday night so decided to have the Sunday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots on at the same time.
I wish I didn't now.
I usually record the NFL and watch it the following morning. However, and like I have already noted, I was awake so decided to stay up and not record the game.
The Broncos were winning twenty-four points to nothing at half-time so I did not foresee how things would play out in the second half and beyond.
The Patriots scored three touchdowns in the third quarter and, by the fourth, had the game tied thirty-one apiece.
I don't know which came first - overtime or tiredness.
The need for sleep made the game feel like it was dragging.
And dragging.
I would like to say I ended up being glad it was over. Only, I wasn't.
Not when the Pats walked out as winners.
