Tonight is the night.
Denver @ Indy.
As I noted earlier this week, this is the one I have been looking forward to since it became clear that Denver were playing Indianapolis in the 2013 season.
Peyton Manning will return to Lucas Oil Stadium, a building built due to his, and the Colts', success.
A few weeks ago, I wrote about Cardiff City playing Newcastle United for the first time in the Premier League. This fixture was a dream for me when I was a young teenager. At age thirty-four, it meant nothing. I knew the team I wanted to win.
For those keeping score at home, my team lost.
Tonight is a whole different animal.
The Indianapolis Colts are the only sports team I follow religiously these days. However, Peyton Manning is my favourite player of all time and I would like to see him do well this year.
I'm on the fence here.
And it's quite a good view from where I am sitting.
I'm expecting it to be a very good game and -despite a victory being more helpful to Indianapolis - I think Denver will walk out with the W.
I wouldn't bet them to beat the spread, though.
