Past Names In (And Definitely Not) In The Frame

Over the past few weeks, we've seen a number of one night only returns by WWE wrestlers. They've been involved in angles or matches with Heath Slater as a celebration of the one thousandth episode of Monday Night Raw that takes place soon (note : I've lost count. I don't know if it's next week or the week after that).

In no particular order - we've seen: Sid Vicious, Vader, Roddy Piper, Diamond Dallas Page and, most recently, Bob Backlund.

In today's post, I'm going to run through a list of people who have appeared on Raw over the years and consider whether they would be good choices for these weekly angle.

Once again, these are in no particular order.

Damien Demento

Appeared in the first main event on the initial episode of Monday Night Raw. He lost to The Undertaker. Hasn't been seen since in WWF/E since 1993 and will probably only cater to long-time fans or people who remember him from his YouTube videos.

Bob Holly

Hardcore Holly was a long-time WWE employee but was released a number of years ago.

Goldust

Was recently let go. Before that, he was working as a WWE road agent. What about Dusty?

'Million Dollar Man' Ted Dibiase

I can imagine Heath Slater taking a Million Dollar Dream.

Bret 'Hitman' Hart

This would be an ideal spot for Hart. He is confirmed as appearing on the 1000th episode so I would not be surprised if this was the angle he is booked in.

Bill Goldberg

Unlikely.

The Ultimate Warrior

Highly unlikely.

Ahmed Johnson

Stranger things have happened.

Jake 'The Snake' Roberts

Unfortunately, may be too much of a car crash waiting to happen

Scott Hall

See above.

Chyna

Likewise.

Kevin Nash / Diesel

'On vaction' according to his Twitter.

Shawn Michaels

I think he'll be involved in the Triple H and Brock Lesnar segment on the one thousandth episode. However, I can see HBK giving Slater a super-kick but then Lesnar blindsides him to send a message to Hunter.

Ric Flair

Not with a contract tampering lawsuit between TNA and WWE in the courts.

King Kong Bundy

Not the worst choice I've suggested.
