Where Is The Respect?

The main topic of conversation on the sports radio stations yesterday morning is concerning FIFA's refusal to allow poppy emblems to be sewn onto football strips for this coming weekend's international friendlies.

It's a shame that the Welsh and English Football Association have to even ask for FIFA's permission on this.

FIFA, like I have noted in the past, are a law unto themselves.

This is a total disrespect to fallen soldiers.

What would happen if the teams wear the emblem, anyway?

Would the referee order them from the pitch to change?

I have a feeling FIFA will be armbarred into changing their stance. But, even so, it shouldn't have arrived at that point in the first place.
