After watching this past Monday's episode of WWE Raw, I was ready to shout 'fix' at some of the results that occurred during the 'power to the people' fan voting gimmick that ran throughout the night.
The most baffling result was when Mason Ryan was voted in to oppose Evan Bourne. To me, Sin Cara was a cert to win the voting but Ryan - who was selection B in the text vote - got the nod.
The vote option preceding this one featured Kelly Kelly in the B spot and she was chosen, by the texting fans, to challenge Brie Bella for the Diva belt.
As yesterday wore on, I figured there must have been some sort confusion with these two votes especially taking into account the fact that both were the 'B' selection in both votes.
My suspicions was proven correct when WWE released this announcement:
Technical errors occurred in some of the voting results during Raw: Power to the People
Had this been in the UK, Ofcom would be all over this. It will be interesting to see whether US regulators will get themselves involved with this faux-pas.
