On Monday I wrote:
Ferdinand making it through a tournament without injury is about as likely as them actually winning it.
On Friday, it was announced the Rio Ferdinand had injured himself in his first training session out in South Africa and was heading home.
My point didn't get hammered the way I intended it to. However, this case proves it better than I imagined.
