Tyson On Raw

Mike Tyson's appearance on last night's WWE Raw was fun.

It's usually hit-or-miss with the guest host concept and I think they did well having Tyson involved with the show.

It brought back some good memories of Raw from 1998 when they started turning things around in their war against WCW by bringing in Tyson in the lead-up to WrestleMania XIV.

Back then, I was hoping that Tyson 'wrestled' a match at the event but he ended up being a ringside enforcer in the match where Steve Austin defeated Shawn Michaels for his first WWE world heavyweight championship.

Tyson did 'wrestle' last night and it was a throwaway having him do so on live TV. I guess when UFC is opposing you on another channel, it's a must do scenario.

It does make me think how bigger it could have been had they been able to get him to do things like that in 1998.

With that all said - it was still a good episode last night and I'll definitely keep this one on DVD.
