Cardiff City need one point to guarantee a place in the Coca-Cola Championship play-offs.
And I think they'll have to wait a few extra days for it.
If you had asked me about twenty-four hours ago whether I thought the Bluebirds would beat Ipswich Town on Saturday I would have answered in the positive.
Now, I'm not so sure.
Ipswich fired their manager, Jim Magilton on Wednesday and replaced him with Roy Keane yesterday.
As you probably know, one of the things I always look for is how a team performs in a game after a manager is fired or, even more importantly, how they are in their new boss' initial game in control.
I'm not sure whether Keane is going to be in charge on the weekend, I am confident he will be there in some capacity and his new team will look to impress.
I'm not writing Cardiff City off. Had it been any other team, I would have felt the same thing. These psychological performances for a new coach are something that I have been interested in since I was a teen.
To highlight the above point - I won a 50p bet against one of my friends in high school when Coventry won in their first match under Ron Atkinson.
I won't be betting money against Cardiff. Not even with a fifty pence wager.
