Houston, we have a problem.
Today is meant to be one of the days I have looked forward to the most this year.
Today is WrestleMania XXV.
Instead, I am sat here with one match on my mind on a card filled with nine bouts.
One match out of nine.
I have been a professional wrestling fan for over twenty years and WrestleMania Sunday, to me, is bigger than the FA Cup final, bigger than the Grand National, bigger than the Super Bowl.
Not in 2009.
WWE have been inept in the build-up to tonight's show.
Inept in all areas apart for the Shawn Michaels v The Undertaker match which, ironically, has had HBK and Taker offering their input in all aspects of their angle more so than the writers that have been assigned the match.
WWE believe that they will get one million worldwide buys.
They can count me out of these projections. I'll watch it, I won't buy it.
Houston, we sure do have a problem.
