There was one bet that stood out begging for me to place this weekend.
I did.
And won.
Blue Square had odds of 3/1 on there being a red card in Sunday's Glasgow Derby between Celtic and Rangers. From the moment I saw the option on the match markets, I knew I had to do it.
I placed the selection in my Goliath on Friday night. By Saturday, the Goliath was looking a little worse for wear so I decided to place a five pounds single on it, too.
A Rangers player obliged in the seventy-fifth minute when Daniel Cousin was given a second yellow card and then dismissed.
To add an exclamation point to my bet, Celtic had a man sent off two minutes later.
If only I had gone for the 18/1 on both teams to have players sent off!
