A Scrambled Verdict?

It appears as though WWE are wondering what the public thought of the 'Championship Scramble' matches they held last Sunday and I don't think they are going to like the results.

On a poll on WWE.com asking its readers what they thought of the idea it was nearly split although the majority hated the gimmick. At the time of writing this, the result is 52.10% for 'no' and 47.89% claiming to have enjoyed the concept.

A split like this could be seen as a failure in the eyes of the company.

Let's also consider that the WWE.com polls are worked and look at the results of a similar survey at an independent website.

Figure Four Weekly and Wrestling Observer Newsletter's joint website asked the exact question and they generated 18.1% in favour of the match while the remaining 81.9% hated it.

I think we have the definitive answer, either way.

The thing failed.

But, as Bryan Alvarez at Figure Four said in yesterday's update, I bet it will be back next year despite this reaction.
