The Mask In The Bag

A few weeks ago, I speculated on what was inside Kane's bag on WWE Raw. Last night - it was revealed.

And I was wrong.

I thought that the bag was containing Kane's old mask as a way to bring back the darker persona to his character. It made a lot of sense.

I was right in believing that the bag contained a mask. I was incorrect in guessing it was Kane's.

During a segment on last night's episode, Mike Adamle encouraged Kane to show what was inside the bag. Kane teased that it was a mask but not his.

My first thought was the mask inside the bag was The Hurricane's. Gregory Helms is set to return to TV soon so I thought that bringing him back as The Hurricane to feud with Kane was a way to re-introduce him into a grudge match.

The actual mask belonged to Rey Mysterio.

I'm surprised that I didn't consider this before I thought about The Hurricane.

It looks like we're going to see Rey against Kane in a feud in the upcoming weeks. I can't say I am looking forward to that.

But, then again - it has better potential than Hurricane against Kane!
