A Change Is Good

A lot of the poker sites I play on have changed server this week and I think it will spell great things for my game.

I am not completely sure why they have moved to this new server but I am assuming it has to do with the bill that was passed in America that has restricted US customers from playing online. It has prompted a lot of sites to merge and I am assuming that the software runners may have also had to come together in this present state of affairs.

I am used to the new skins on these sites as I have been playing them on BetFred Poker for well over a year. If you recall, I did well in the BetFred Premier League in the early part of 2006.

Without sounding too arrogant - I would say that I have made the most of my wins on this kind of software.

I played my first game yesterday and entered the $5,000 guaranteed tournament on Blue Square. I did okay. I ended up finishing in ninty-eighth place in a game that started with over six-hundred and twenty runners. I missed the pay-out by nineteen places but at least I was hanging in there near the latter stages of the tournament.

Sheryl Crow was right. This change is sure to do me good.
