Cyber Session

Tonight is the WWE pay per view event, Cyber Sunday. The event name is new although the concept is familiar.

Back in 2004 the WWE introduced a Tuesday night event called Taboo Tuesday which allowed fans to vote on the performers or style of matches that were available for them to pick.

With both the 2004 and 2005 Taboo Tuesday's both clashing with baseball I would assume that the company found the buyrates a letdown and that is why they decided to change the show to their regular Sunday night pay per view schedule where the World Series wouldn't conflict with them.

Here are a rundown of the matches listed and the voting options. I have also added what I voted for and what will likely happen.

Mickie James vs Lita

The choices are for their match to be no disqualification, diva lumberjack or submission. As it would mean there will be more female flesh on display I would guess that the majority of votes will go twards the diva lumberjack option. I am going for that, too.

Charlie Haas & Viscera vs The Highlanders vs Cade & Murdoch vs Cryme Tyme

The options are for this tag team style match to be a fatal four-way, a tag team turmoil or a texas tornado. I have no interest in this so will go for fatal four-way. Not sure what the majority will pick as I guess they don't care either.

Umaga vs Chris Benoit, Kane or The Sandman

Kane would be the ideal foe as they had a brief feud over the last few weeks. Chris Benoit is a popular wrestler and is likely to get a better match out of Umaga so I will be voting the Canadian Crippler. The majority will likely vote for Kane.

Spirit Squad vs Ric Flair & ?

The viewers will get to pick Flair's partner from a list of three legends. Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper and Sgt. Slaughter are the people who are up for nomination. I want Rhodes but I think the masses will vote Piper.

Jeff Hardy vs ?

Who will Jeff Hardy defend the Intercontinental championshoip against? The picks are Carlito, Shelton Benjamin or Johnny Nitro. Johnny Nitro would be the ideal challenger as they are in the midst of a feud. Carlito is the popular babyface so I would assume he gets the majority of votes.

d-Generation X vs Randy Orton & Edge

The fans get to vote on who will be the referee in this bout. The names to choose from are Vince McMahon, Jonathan Coachman or Eric Bischoff. I wouldn't mind Bischoff being picked but I know it's going to end up being Vince.

John Cena vs King Booker vs Big Show

This is the champion of champions match. The voting is on whose world title is on the line in this three way between all the brands champions. As John Cena is the babyface anf the other two are heels I would guess that most of the viewers will vote that Booker or Big Show have to defend their title in the main event. Ir all depends on who the fans hate more. I say Booker.
