My level of interest in the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview with Oprah Winfrey is very low. However, I was interested to see one part of the fallout.
I didn't watch the interview, or Piers Morgan talking about it on Good Morning Britain on Monday, but - after seeing Morgan claim that Meghan Markle was dishonest in regards to her claim that she had suicidal thoughts, I knew Morgan was done for.
There was no way ITV would have been able to keep the presenter on the breakfast programme because of the channel's relationship with mental health charities.
And so, after storming off the programme during a debate on yesterday's episode, it was later revealed that Morgan had decided to call time on his GMB career.
ITV made it look like he had made the jump, but there was no alternative - he had to go.
