I am referring to Father's Day 2009. The day that my youngest nephew was born.
Today we find ourselves on another Birthday/Father's Day crossover.
Like I said, that day sometimes feels such a long time ago. However, I still remember what I was doing when I found out he was born.
I was watching Little Shop of Horrors as I had bought it on DVD a few weeks earlier.
Coincidentally, he watched part of the film a few weeks ago but wasn't keen on it, so his parents switched it off.
I have to say, I was quite surprised at him disliking the film because he's usually into films with special effects and puppetry.
It could very well be that the movie has aged with time and certain members of the new generations don't find it interesting. That's a shame because I loved the movie back in the day.
