One of my favourite players in the history of Cardiff City Football Club - Peter Whittingham - passed away yesterday.Whitts was hurt after falling down stairs in a pub in Barry (a town near Cardiff) a week ago.
I don't want to focus on his death, but want to share some things that he did for Cardiff.
He played ten years for the club. In that time, he made 459 appearances and ninety-eight goals. In that decade, the club did the following:
- Made the 2008 FA Cup Final
- Made the League Cup Final in 2012
- Won Promotion to the Premier League (2013)
He was a HUGE part in those historical moments for the club. Without any question.
