The people at Sky Sports News really have to take a long hard look at themselves after something that was done yesterday.
The channel was covering the situation at Bury and Bolton Wanderers that really bothered me.
Bury and Bolton are near to collapse and were in last-ditch talks with suitors to try and work out a deal before a 5PM deadline. After that time, the teams were set to be excluded from the Football League.
The channel had a countdown clock to the deadline.
It's not a flipping transfer deadline show. People's livelihoods were on the line. It didn't need to have that sort of coverage.
It was shameful.
Shortly before this post was published, Bury was expelled from the Football League. A terrible, terrible thing to happen to a historic club.
