It will soon be fifty years since the world saw Apollo 11 land on the moon.
The event took place on July 20th 1969. I wasn't even born then, but I've seen a lot of footage and documentaries from that day.
I'm sure there will be TONS of docs and things on TV over the coming weeks. In fact - one thing I have been doing weekly is listen to a BBC podcast titled '13 Minutes to the Moon'. It's really good and well researched.
I plan to write more about the moon landing on the 20th.
