On New Year's Eve of last year, ITV aired a pilot episode of World of Sport Wrestling. It has now been given a greenlight for a ten-week run starting over the summer.
This is obviously good news for the British wrestling scene and its fans.
I enjoyed the pilot. It was a fun couple of hours that brought back some fun memories of watching the 'sport' on a Saturday.
It'll be interesting to see whether ITV can attract an audience and keep them locked in all through the two-and-a-half months.
Am I going to be one of the viewers? You betcha!
