The Barca Comeback

Wow.

That was my reaction when I saw the Champions League football scores last night and realised that Barcelona had turned things around and made it to the next stage of the tournament.

The team entered yesterday's game 4-0 down on aggregate to Paris St. Germain. The second leg ended 6-1.

Amazing.

I'm not a Barcelona fan, but I have an interest in how the team performs this season as I have three bets on them.

I have £3 on them to to win the Copa del Rey and Champions League. The odds are 14/1.

There's also a £2 bet at 25/1 that I have on the team to win the two tournaments listed above as well as being top of La Liga when the season is done and dusted.

Finally, I have £5 at 5/1 for the team to win La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

As of the time of writing, they're in the Copa del Rey final and are sitting atop La Liga by a point.

Let it be known, I am not a Barcelona fan. I was asked to promote the three special bets over the summer and thought I'd have a go betting on them as well. The odds were kind of appealing at the time.

When I saw the score from the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, I gave up hope. I'm pleased to still be holding three good betting slips. Would have only had the one remaining had the magic not happened last night.
