Never Again In Our Lifetime

What an amazing story we've seen play out since August.

Leicester City are 2015/2016 Premier League Champions.

The team were confirmed as league winners following Tottenham Hotspur's 2-2 draw against Chelsea last night. I had wanted the title decided on Monday for many reasons. Firstly, it was my birthday and I wanted to have one of those 'I remember the day when Leicester won the league' moments.

The most important reason is because I wanted to see one of Claudio Ranieri's former teams assist their ex-boss. I loved the irony.  I also loved the Chelsea supporters chanting 'There's only one Ranieri' as the time ticked by to end the game.

I said to my friend last night that we'll never see a season like this. Never again in our lifetime.

We'll be talking about - and remembering - this one for many years to come.
