The marathon has been run. I have crossed the finish line.
If you don't know what I am referring to - it's that I have been on a Boardwalk Empire viewing marathon for the past few weeks.
I had until yesterday to view every single episode as Now TV had scheduled to take down the five seasons on October 5th.
I completed it with a few days to spare.
Now, onto the important bit.
Did I like it?
The answer is Yes!
Well, at first I did. I found myself struggling through some episodes. The trick was to stick it through and it eventually got better.
The thing that I did find funny through the whole thing is EVERY single character that I did like ended up dead.
The most intriguing character, in my opinion, was Richard Harrow. He was a casualty of war who covered half of his disfigured face with a mask. He was a hitman, but had good traits. I was really sorry to see how his character met his end in the final episode of season four.
If you haven't seen it, it's well worth checking out.
