Seattle versus New England is like the tagline of Alien .vs. Predator.
Whoever wins... We lose.
And we will. We will hear a lot about whichever teams wins all the way through the off-season and up to around this time next year.
Even though I don't like the fixture - and it was the match I didn't want to happen in the Super Bowl Scenarios post I published this past Saturday - it does have a compelling narrative.
With Seattle having won the Super Bowl last season, they're now in position to win back-to-back championships. The last time this was achieved was in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. The team that did it: New England.
So, we have the remnants of the most recent dynasty in position to prevent another one from being created on February 1st.
That's a superb Super Bowl angle.
