The Welsh news, especially the Cardiff-based media, is hyping up the fact that Cardiff City are joint-favourites to win the Championship in May.
I'm not so sure.
The first game of the season for both league and Cardiff takes place this evening when Blackburn Rovers host the Bluebirds.
I would obviously like to see Cardiff make it back to the Premier League. However, I am not so confident that Ole Gunner Solksjaer is the right man to be in charge. I have not seen anything in his management style to offer a little hope that Cardiff return to the top flight.
Let's hope I'm wrong.
