I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the people who think they have made over £170,000 selling a dress made of Loom Bands should brace themselves for the moment when they realise the bid was a wind-up.
I have spent the past two days reading and watching news items about the damn dress and all I can think of is one thing.
We have been here before.
It goes like clockwork, something unique is sold on eBay for a ridiculous amount of money, the media gets to cover it, the bidder fails to pay up giving the reporters another story.
It'll happen here as well. Mark my words.
And for the record - if the money does change hands and the item is sold, I think they deserve every penny.
