Lee Marshall's Claim To Fame That Went Beyond Pro Wrestling

Old-time fans of professional wrestling will know the name Lee Marshal, who passed away over the weekend. He worked for the AWA and spent some time in WCW. However, one of his claims to fame went beyond pro wrestling.

Marshall was once the voice behind Tony the Tiger.

Yes, the cartoon that appeared on commercials for the American breakfast cereal - Kellogg's Frosted Flakes.

I don't think he was the voice of the UK-version of the cereal - Frosties - but he was certainly one of the actors that performed in the US adverts.

Along with the voice work for the breakfast cereal, he also had an extensive career in radio working in Los Angeles, Phoenix and some markets in Canada.
