Is Christian Inductee #1?

The first inductee in of TNA's Hall of Fame will be announced at the Slammiversary pay-per-view tonight. In a post a week ago, I made a stab in the dark by suggesting that 'Macho Man' Randy Savage be given the honour. However, news that has been revealed online has led me to think I was way off.

Do you remember when Ric Flair was inducted - as part of the Four Horsemen - into the WWE Hall of Fame on WrestleMania weekend this year? Well, as he was still an employee of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, a deal had to be worked out between them and World Wrestling Entertainment.

TNA are cashing in on their part of the agreement tonight by having Christian appear at the pay-per-view for one night only.

The WWE Intercontinental champion won't be wrestling for the rival organisation so it has made me jump to the conclusion that he could be the person with the initial spot in TNA's honour list.

Christian - then wrestling as Christian Cage - worked fpr TNA for a number of years in the mid-2000s. He was crowned NWA-TNA world champion on two occasions during his three years in the company.
