Today is my sister's birthday and I think it is only right to share two memories of her.
I have this incredible memory of being two and laying in my parent's bed watching TV while my mother was pregnant with Louise. My mother was telling me that I had a little baby brother or sister inside her 'tummy' and I knocked my mother's belly shouting 'hello?' to the lump.
Then I remember sitting at the kitchen table with my father a few hours after she was born. I think my father must have been trying to get me involved in a way to ensure I didn't get jealous which is what a lot of children get once they have a new sibling arrive in the household.
We were both sitting at the table and my dad and I were coming up with names for her. They had probably already named her but were trying to make me feel important.
So guess what name I came up with.
Princess Leia!
