The Weigh It Is

I have just finished a 3 day diet and managed to lose 3lbs.

It isn't the first time I dieted as I did one for six months from the middle of last year until Christmas Eve. Back then I started at Fifteen stone Four pounds which was a crazy weight considering former world boxing champion Hashim Rachman weighed that and he was in the heavyweight division!

The weight had come on over the last three years due to me not being able to get outside as often as I used to and my travelling to and from work was done by either car or bus. Add to that the amount of food and drink I was consuming and it isn't surprising I became a balloon of my former self.

All that changed in the summer of 2005 when I decided it was time to get back to winning ways so I went on the GI Diet and lost a little over 2 and a half stone. Anyone who knows me know that when I have an idea in my head I will pursue it and I achieved some of my goal.

In the weeks leading up to Christmas I decided I would enjoy the festive period because the year earlier I spent it in worry over a health issue that I had and it made me worry that it was probably going to be my last. But that, my friends, is another story for another time.

So as soon as soon as the Christmas tree and decorations were put up in the attic for another year I stepped on the scales and had a shock. I was back to over 13 stones. It read 13st 2lbs.

So from this past Monday I started back on the GI diet and then my mother told me about some weird diet that was in one of her woman magazines and I decided to have a go.

I just weighed myself this morning after the three day course and I am now on 12st 13lbs.

And I am back on the road again.
