A King Charles Score

On June 18 of last year, I published a post in which I mentioned being given my first £10 note featuring King Charles III on it. I followed that up on July 8 2024  noting how I was in possession of a £5 bearing His Majesty's picture.

It was only just the other day, when I was preparing to cash some money into the bank, I realised I had my first King Charles £20 note. Coincidentally. it was a couple of days ago - so it would have been on the one-year anniversary of the post about the fiver.

Anyway - I have now had a King Charles £20. That can be ticked off the record. The only note that is eluding me is a King Charles £50 and, considering I dislike having fifties, I doubt I will ever cross that off the checklist.

On the reverse of the banknote is J.M.W Turner. He lived between 1775 and 1851 and is a painter who worked with watercolours to create landscape paintings.
