As soon as I was up and ready, I watched last night's WWE Smackdown.
I thought the company did a classy tribute to Hulk Hogan. The show opened with the roster, and other WWE people, on the stage for a ten-bell salute. Following that was a six-plus minute video tribute which was well produced.
Sprinkled along the show were clips of key moments from Hogan's career.
It was superbly done.
As I am writing the post, I'm watching today's G1 Climax round on-demand. That event opened up with the New Japan Pro Wrestling crew standing around the ring for another ten-bell salute.
Both were different in their ways, but each were respectful.
