I'm not going to name the websites in particular, just in case, but the majority are clone sites of US clothing stores. The mail contents claim I have left certain items in my online shopping trolley and I have to pay to ensure I don't miss out on the sale.
Obviously, considering they're US stores (or rather: fake versions of them!), I have not tried to purchase anything. And if I did, I would have followed through. On the real websites, that is.
I have blocked at least six emails over the past couple of days. It's getting quite annoying. It has led me to wonder how effective these cons work.
