It was such a headache trying to secure a copy as I had email communication with the editor and his staff and they were unsure how much it would cost to send me a copy of the magazine.
I had even tried getting my cousin in Arizona and my friend who moved to Canada to try and get a hold of a copy.
Eventually, I went back to the publishers and subscribed to their weekly newsletter for the NFL season and secured a free copy of the magazine although I did have to pay the cost of postage but that's fair enough.
As soon as the magazine was published this year, I went back into 'what shall I do?' mode and was finding ways to get the 2010 version.
Thankfully, I found old copies being sold on the High Stakes Bookshop (based in London) website so emailed the owner and asked him whether they would have the latest version in stock. He went out of his way and managed to get me a copy.
The magazine is a good handbook and gives a lot of pointers and historical data to look for in the upcoming season.
If I am to be completely honest, last year's issue didn't do me any good as I found myself in predicaments where I couldn't decide whether to bet on what was written or not.
I was torn with a lot of the decisions in the book.
I'm sure I will end up in similar situations this year but it's good to have the statistics there in front of me so I don't bet blindly.
