An ESPN Classic

I received an email on Friday morning reminding me that ESPN will be airing classic episodes of Monday Night Football tonight.

The series will run for ten weeks as a build-up to the launch of the NFL season where ESPN have the rights to air Monday Night Football over here.

The email did sort of spoil it, however:

'First up - at 8:oopm on Monday July 5th - will be the 2006 matchup between Arizona and Chicago which saw the Cardinals almost pull off a dramatic upset at the previously undefeated Bears.'

Was it necessary to give us the outcome of the game?
