Garbage Pail Kids Flashback

I was killing time on YouTube yesterday afternoon and stumbled upon a video with someone opening a new box of Garbage Pail Kids trading cards.

The Garbage Pail Kids were around when I was in primary school. There were five or six cards and a stick of bubble gum in each packet.

They were gross parodies of the Cabbage Patch Kids and a lot of people at my school collected them.

In 1987, a movie was made to capitalise on their popularity. The film - in hindsight - was abysmal. I just didn't know it back then.

The new collection is called 'Flashback' and feature reworkings of the original artwork. They more than likely won't be out in UK shops - not that I was going to buy them, anyway. It was just interesting to see the older characeters making a comeback after all these years.
