Hardy On Top

I don't know what to think in regards to Jeff Hardy becoming WWE Champion last night.

On one hand, it was right - on another, I'm not so sure.

Jeff Hardy had been put into the position of challenging for the belt on countless occasions throughout the year and it would have been bad for business had this continued. He had come up short in so many that they would have had to put the belt on him. WWE were backed into the corner on this one, they had to do it sooner or later.

The reason why I don't agree with the move is simple - Hardy has a poor track record and is unreliable.

He has major issues that have never been resolved and the company endorsing him in this way sets a poor precedence.

In the past few years he's had drug suspensions, refused to go to rehab and let's not forget his no shows in TNA.

WWE have shown a lot of bottle putting the strap on him.

I hope it pays off for both parties.
