I bought Bully for the Wii and - as a concept - I think it's good.
It's made by Rockstar Games and is similar in ways to Grand Theft Auto. This time, however, you play a teenager named Jimmy who has just been enrolled at boarding school.
A lot of action groups have slammed the game as they think it promotes bullying. I can understand why they are worried but the game isn't about being a bully.
Jimmy is a loveable rogue, if you will. A modern day Dennis the Menace, but with an edge.
It's about trying to become popular and successful within a school system. Beating the bully, and not being one, is what the game is about.
The game is rated fifteen, as well. I know that a lot of kids will get their hands on it. I don't think it deserves the bad press it initially got when first released.
These are just my initial thoughts on the game. I have a long way to go as I am just scratching the surface after playing it for a few minutes. If I change my ideology on it, you'll be the first to know.
