Does this guy have any shame?

It is being reported that Fowler's agent has enquired with Cardiff City about potentially returning to the club.

Yes, the same club he deserted at the eleventh hour only a few weeks ago in an attempt to gamble on securing a contract with Blackburn Rovers.

The Blackburn move hasn't worked out well for Mr. Fowler. It seems that they aren't interested in signing a crocked player and have only offered him a pay-as-you-play deal similar to what Cardiff had offered him over the Summer.

The problem with Blackburn's offer was that it only ran until January and they had the option to discontinue the contract at the start of 2009. Fowler, realising he made a mistake, wanted to return to Cardiff and sign a contract that will see him through until the Summer of '09.

When I wrote about Fowler's lack of loyalty a number of weeks ago, I specifically pointed out that football was just a business.

Thankfully - those at Cardiff have realised that, too. They politely responded with two words. They weren't the two words I would have used but it was the business-minded version.
