The Glass Ceiling

I had a good weekend betting on the football. Good. Not great.

It seems that I keep missing the full return in my combination bets by one or two matches and this weekend's perfrmace can prove this theory.

On Friday night I placed a goliath on two Friday night and six Saturday games. Out of the eight matches Bochum and Stuttgart failed to win for me and I made a profit of around £15.

If the two German clubs had won their matches I would have had a return of over £250.

Then, on Saturday night I placed a super heinz on seven Sunday games. There was only one loser in this bet and that was Caykur Rizespor in Turkey who failed to take advantage of their home tie against Ankaraspor.

I made £33 from that super heinz. If it had ended up being a one hundred percent strike I would have made a little over £100.

I haven't made full cover on these bets for a while now but I have still broke even in at least most of the bets I have placed.
